That vintage feeling

Hola lolas! Just thought of sharing you one of my collections :)
Lately, I become fond of collecting collared dresses. Maybe because it makes me easier to drive my outfit into a vintage feeling. And add to that, collars makes your look witty <3
That's why one of the trend in fashion today is the detachable collar of which some of them were handmade and artistically created by young fashion enthusiasts and designers. There's a shop named Punk-X-Pretty which sells detachable collars too, turbans, remade jacket and shorts. All up for grabs at their online shop on facebook. They're on SALE now so I bet you should visit their online shop to gift yourself some lovely babies!

with detachable collar

All collared dresses were bought from Lou Shoppe. A shop which I've bought variety of dresses already, specially when you are looking for vintage dresses. They have a lot of those in their online shop. And if you've read my previous blog post about my addiction with polka dots here you will spot the red button down dress with detachable collar that I received last Monday. Since Lou Shoppe is a Davao based online shop I just asked the owner which is Ms. Lorlene if they could have a meet up when I get to Davao. And there, finally I've met the very kind  and pretty online seller Ms. Lorlene and received these babies together with the pearl mask connector ring. Thank you Ms. Lorlene for dropping by! God bless your shop more and more! :)

Teenage Dream
Yey! Finally posted my leafy vintage dress that I’ve purchased from Eve’s Secret room. I bought this dress 2 to 3 months ago already so it’s quite old na but still captured the same sensation that I’m aiming. I partnered it with my mustard colored flat shoes and boater hat and alas! I have a 1940’s fashion in front of my camera.
If you ladies would like to purchase a vintage dress like this you can check out Eve’s Secret room’s facebook account here. But hurry because this is a first come first served online shop.  Their dresses are very nice, you should try to purchase one (:
And don’t forget to ask for dimensions ladies!
Their auction is still on going, if you are interested just click here.
Thanks Eve’s Secret room for this lovely dress! God bless you more! (:

A bit old

Basically, I go out to shop my clothes ALONE. I don't really like to go shopping with a chaperon who's too impatient to wait. Honestly, I am too picky with my clothes.  I would go visit a boutique for quite 2-3 times or so before I would decide to buy the item. I don't go to boutiques and bring all my money to shop then go home with empty pockets. I first make sure that the item is worth buying. Oh, just to give you a tip. I go shopping by outfit. To consume less time I do manage to draw the outfit I'm desiring to wear. And then when I go for shopping I would just find the item that looks closer to the outfit I've drawn. Then poof! The outfit would really go out just like how I wanted it to be. Discounts are the best ;) In Japan, they usually give 50% discount when the season is already changing. Though we can't use the clothes for the coming season, my mom would eventually buy bunch of clothes with pretty sweet discounts and keep it so that we can still wear it
if that season would come to pass again.

I also love buying items at thrift stores. I make sure that the price gives justice to the item that I wish to buy. Recently, I visited thrift stores along Cubao and Pasig. Here's what I've availed  for 284 php only; a leather sling bag for a classy chic look.

I would rate it A for it is still in a very good condition. {NO FLAWS}

Yey, I've finally found a polka dododot longsleeves :p Honestly, I'm looking for a polka dododot dress but can't find one in thrift stores :( I haven't roamed around some of the thrift stores along Manila then. So do you think I'm missing out half of my life? :| :)) Hihi. I think so. I'm really dying to have the red polka dot dress pretty soon.  So for now as an alternative I think I'll wear this polka dot longsleeves for the mean time and wear a plain dark skirt for my bottom to give a contrast and to pop out these little polka dots.

Oh :O It's Minnie Mouse wearing the red polka dot dress. I envy her. :| Huhu.

Till my next post lolas!
